NOV Tower
Houston, Texas
Sited on Houston’s west side, this 442,000-square foot, 24-story office tower was programmed to headquarter a major division of National Oilwell Varco (NOV) and house its 1,400 employees. The Tower was designed as a Class-A office building with amenities like interconnecting grand stairs, a conference center with auditorium, a lounge, and a café. The building shell and its interior architecture were designed to meet LEED™ standards for sustainable design attained LEED™ Gold certification in 2016 and 2018.
PDG Architects served this client with a broad range of design services including interior architecture, space planning and programming, branding, way-finding, green building certification, project management, construction administration and move coordination/relocation. All spaces in this building were conceived to create a visually interesting space centered on the company’s branding image. Graphics representing NOV’s various business segments and its worldwide locations were incorporated on to the walls of all public spaces.
