PDG Architects was contracted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to design a new Visitors Center and related site development within the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Park. The new Visitors Center will be approximately 8,700-square feet. The programming effort for the design took into consideration the space and infrastructure requirements needed to accommodate bus-loads of students, seniors and other visitor groups. Our team developed conceptual design studies for numerous sites within the San Jacinto Battlefield Park.

 

The Visitor Center will be designed to obtain United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for new construction at the Silver Level.
